THE PROTOCOL
Manual. Precise. Designed around the body as a whole.
The Talita Avila Protocol is a signature treatment performed entirely through manual techniques and designed to support whole-body well-being. It combines lymphatic drainage with targeted techniques to encourage fluid circulation, release tissue tension, support digestion and help the body regain a sense of lightness, balance and well-being.
TALITA AVILA FOLLOW-UP
Created by Talita. Delivered by certified therapists.
Each treatment is entrusted to a practitioner certified in the Talita Avila Protocol and trained to its standards of excellence. Talita Avila, founder and creator of the Protocol, remains its guarantor: she supervises the quality of its practice and regularly oversees each practitioner’s mastery and continued development of the techniques. When needed, her expertise may also be called upon to provide a specific perspective or guidance. A privileged presence that preserves the integrity, rigor and singularity of the Talita Avila Protocol.
FAQ
Before your session.
The essentials about how the Talita Avila Protocol works at home.
How long does a session last?
Around one hour. The exact rhythm may vary slightly according to the session and your needs.
Do you bring a massage table?
In most cases, a massage table is not necessary. The Protocol is designed to be performed comfortably at home and sessions normally take place on the client’s bed. We simply ask you to have two towels ready. A sofa may also be used when appropriate, and some clients prefer to use their own massage table.
Who performs the sessions?
Sessions are performed by Talita Avila Protocol certified therapists in each city. The team follows the same technical standards and Protocol.
Will Talita perform my session?
Talita does not belong to the regular therapist rotation. She visits clients periodically, personally follows progress and remains available online whenever you have questions about the Protocol or your care.
Is the Protocol only lymphatic drainage?
No. It combines lymphatic drainage with advanced manual techniques from dermatofunctional therapy and approaches circulation as a whole, not only the lymphatic system.
Can I book just one session?
Yes. You can book a single session. However, the Talita Avila Protocol is designed as a continuous treatment, and regular sessions allow progress to be followed more effectively over time. For this reason, we also offer 5- and 10-session packages at more advantageous rates.
What should I prepare before the therapist arrives?
Please have two clean towels available and enough space around the bed for the therapist to work comfortably.
What is the cancellation policy?
Appointments should be changed or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I receive the treatment during pregnancy?
In an uncomplicated pregnancy, the treatment can be adapted to provide comfort and well-being. We do not manipulate the abdomen, and performing the session on the bed usually offers additional comfort. If your pregnancy is high-risk or you have any medical concern, please obtain guidance from your healthcare professional before booking.
Are there any contraindications?
Certain health conditions require additional precautions. In particular, people undergoing or with a recent history of oncological treatment should obtain medical clearance before receiving the treatment.
Can I receive the treatment after surgery?
Post-operative care is possible only once healing is sufficiently advanced. We do not work over open or incompletely healed wounds, in the presence of significant itching or signs of healing complications, or while a drain is in place.
Is the treatment covered by health insurance or social security?
No. The Talita Avila Protocol is a wellness treatment and is not provided as a medical or paramedical act.
What oil do you use?
We use a neutral, plant-based, hypoallergenic oil. When appropriate, it may be combined with essential oils. A completely neutral oil is also available.
